Evidence of What We’re Up Against

More than 18,000 people already have told the U.S. Department of Agriculture that they support a proposal to ban the marketing of unhealthy food and beverages in schools. Now we need your help to find photographs showcasing the kinds of junk food marketing that remains prevalent in so many schools.

The PreventObesity.net team is looking for photographs of banners, fliers, classroom handouts, vending machine displays, coupon incentive programs or any other examples of inappropriate school food and beverage marketing. We will gather the photos and share them with the public, allowing us to show people who might not be familiar with this issue just how invasive junk food marketing has become in schools across the country.

Please send any examples you might have to info@preventobesity.net. Be sure to include a brief description of what is in the photograph as well.*

Don’t have any pictures to share? You can still help spread the word about this vital effort by sharing the campaign on Twitter and Facebook.

And don’t forget to take action if you haven’t done so yet, too!
